Hi, I’m Krisha Gala (she/her)
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, questioning your worth, or finding it difficult to navigate your relationships, you don't have to figure it all out on your own. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and reconnect with yourself in ways that feel meaningful and authentic to you.
At The Therapeutic Space, I believe therapy is not something done to you, but something we co-create. I meet you with empathy and genuine interest, not assumptions. We work with what’s here in the present, without reducing you to labels or diagnoses. You are a whole, evolving human and that’s where we begin. Together, we make meaning, move gently through what feels heavy, and build toward what feels right for you.
My aim is not to create dependence on therapy, but to support you in building the insight, resilience, and self-trust needed to meet life with greater independence and confidence.
My primary work focuses on supporting adolescents, young adults, adults, couples and families.
I offer online counselling and psychotherapy across India and Internationally, in Hindi & English, specializing in individual and couple's therapy. Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals from India, the UK, US, UAE, Canada, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, South Africa, New Zealand and other parts of Europe, allowing me to develop a culturally sensitive and globally informed therapeutic perspective.
My Approach
As an Eclectic Practitioner rooted in a Humanistic Approach, I see each client as a whole person rather than as a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. I believe that therapy begins with creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted, while also supporting you in exploring the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be affecting your life today.
I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Informed Care. I also incorporate mindfulness and visualization practices when they feel meaningful and supportive to the therapeutic process.
Rather than following a single therapeutic model, I thoughtfully adapt therapy to your individual needs, goals, and pace. Some sessions may focus on understanding long-standing emotional or relationship patterns, while others may involve developing practical coping strategies, processing difficult emotions, exploring your sense of self, or practicing healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
My approach is flexible, collaborative and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to be honest, and empowered enough to make choices that feel right for you.
For some people, emotions can be difficult to put into words. When appropriate, I may integrate art-based, creative and expressive techniques into therapy to support deeper emotional exploration and self-reflection. These approaches can offer another way to connect with experiences, emotions and parts of ourselves that may feel difficult to express through conversation alone. They are always introduced collaboratively and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I also offer an LGBTQIA+ Affirmative and Inclusive Therapeutic Space, where diverse identities, expressions, relationships, and lived experiences are respected, affirmed, and welcomed without judgment.
A Space to Reconnect, Reclaim & Rise
In our time together, I support you in exploring your emotions, making sense of them, and finding ways to express them that feel true to you. Therapy can be a space for quiet reflection and honest connection, a place where all parts of you are welcome and honored. You don't have to be "okay" or hold everything together. There is no rush and no need to justify your emotions. You can simply arrive as you are.
I often tell clients that we can't learn to play the piano by only reading sheet music, we have to touch the keys and practice. Therapy can work in much the same way. It is not only about understanding ourselves intellectually, but also about experiencing and practicing new ways of being, responding, and relating.
Through reflection, emotional exploration, and embodied awareness, our work together can support you in experiencing yourself differently, reconnecting with who you are, and reclaiming your voice. I believe therapy is not about changing who you are, but about creating a safe space where you can better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and true to you.
Our work together isn't about judging your experiences or rushing to find solutions. Instead, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships and patterns with curiosity, compassion, and respect, allowing meaningful change to happen at a pace that feels right for you.
You don't have to arrive with the "right words" or all the answers. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply looking for greater self-understanding, therapy offers a space where you can be heard, supported, and accepted exactly as you are.

Client Feedback
Therapy with Krisha has changed how I view therapy for the better. Her expertise, empathy, understanding non judgmental behavior creates a safe space for you to open up. Her approach to dealing with issues is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced with other therapists. I genuinely look forward to my next session with her now (as someone that used to dread therapy) She has helped me view things in ways I’ve never seen before and yes been enlightening. She’s an amazing therapist. Best I’ve ever come across. Always grateful I get to navigate my mental health with her :)
After trying multiple therapists over the years, I have felt the most comfortable with Krisha. She consistently shows genuine empathy during our sessions. She never rushes me, allowing space to process my thoughts and feelings at my own pace. I always feel safe opening up to her and I truly appreciate the supportive environment she creates.

Krisha, I didn’t know how much I needed this space until I found it. You’ve made it so easy to be honest. There’s something about the way you listen, without pressure or judgment, that makes it feel okay to just be where I am. Little by little, I’m noticing changes in how I think, feel, and show up in my life. I’m really grateful for this journey and for you walking alongside me through it.

I used to feel so overwhelmed and unsure of what I was feeling, but Krisha helped me slow down and actually understand what was going on inside. She never pushed me - just gave me space to talk, cry, or just sit with things. I always left sessions feeling a little lighter and a little more hopeful. I didn’t think therapy could feel this comforting, but with Krisha, it really did.

As a couple, we started therapy feeling stuck and unsure if our relationship could improve. Krisha helped us create conversations that felt safe, honest, and productive instead of ending in frustration. Through her guidance, we gained a better understanding of each other's perspectives, learned healthier ways to communicate, and rebuilt the emotional connection we had been missing. We now feel more supported, understood, and confident in navigating challenges together.

I've been taking sessions from her for last few months, and I've noticed much more improvement in myself than I had even in years. I had some mental health issues since my childhood and she helped me a lot to heal myself. The best thing about her is that she really listens to you carefully and try to provide you the solutions which doesn't only act as a temporary solution, rather it heals you up from inside.
